Holy Trinity Cathedral (Kidist Selassie) is the highest-ranking Ethiopian Orthodox cathedral in Addis Ababa and the burial place of Emperor Haile Selassie and Empress Menen Asfaw. Founded in 1931 and completed in 1942 to celebrate liberation from Italian occupation, it is known for its domes and spires, stained-glass windows and the graves of national heroes in its grounds.

The cathedral stands near Arat Kilo and the national parliament. Inside, the tombs of Haile Selassie and Empress Menen lie in the north transept, carved from granite. Large stained-glass windows and murals tell biblical and Ethiopian stories.

The churchyard contains graves of patriots who fought the Italian occupation, victims of the 1937 massacre in Addis Ababa, and the British campaigner Sylvia Pankhurst, a lifelong supporter of Ethiopia. A small museum holds royal and religious treasures.
