What is the National Museum stop about?

Can Unity Park be added to the tour?

Yes, and it is worth asking for. Unity Park sits in the Grand Palace grounds and is not on our standard route, but the itinerary is built around your preferences and the time you have. Plan around its opening days: the park publishes Tuesday to Sunday including public holidays, closed Mondays, 9am to 4pm, with a standard foreign visitor ticket of 20 US dollars and 300 birr for Ethiopian nationals and diaspora holding valid identification. Those are Unity Park's own published rates, checked in August 2026.

Why do Addis Ababa opening hours look six hours out?

Because Ethiopia keeps its own clock, which starts counting at dawn rather than midnight. Unity Park, for instance, publishes its hours in Amharic as 3 to 10, and that means 9am to 4pm on the clock your phone shows. Attractions, offices and drivers quoting a local time may be using either system, so it is worth confirming which one is meant. Your guide handles this for you on the day.

Is a coffee ceremony part of the day?
